This page is maintained by DHL Delivery Logistics and describes how we handle shipment and contact data. Last updated 29 July 2026.
We collect the information needed to move and trace a consignment: sender and receiver names, addresses and phone numbers, cargo descriptions, origin and destination, custody scan locations and delivery evidence such as package photos. When you contact us we also keep your message and contact details.
Shipment data is used to plan routing, clear customs, prove custody, answer support requests and publish tracking updates to anyone holding the tracking number. Contact data is used only to reply to you and to send operational notices about your consignments.
A tracking page can be viewed by anyone who has the exact tracking number, because recipients and third-party logistics partners need access without an account. For that reason the public tracking view deliberately omits email addresses and internal account references.
We use cloud infrastructure for hosting, database storage and file storage, and OpenStreetMap tiles to render route maps. Map tile requests are made by your browser to the OpenStreetMap tile service. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
The website stores your language preference in your browser and an authentication session for staff who sign in to the admin portal. We do not run advertising trackers.
Shipment and customs records are retained for the period required by applicable trade and tax law, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Support correspondence is kept for 24 months.
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal data we hold about you, and object to particular processing. Write to privacy@dhldeliverylogistics.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Access to shipment records is restricted to authenticated staff accounts, enforced at the database level. Package photos are served through short-lived signed links. Passwords are stored hashed and never in plain text.
